BASIC ITEMS NEEDED FOR ROMANIA
...these are basic items needed to help the people in Romania
in their daily existence... things so many of us take for granted.

Collecting these items is an ongoing effort.  They will always be welcomed and appreciated...

  1. Romanian Bibles and Tracts

  2. Medical Supplies: 
    Any kind of antibiotics
       Cold and Cough   
       Decongestants
       Children and Infants Tylenol
                     (or equivalent) 
       VITAMINS (Children & Adults)
       Band-Aids 
        (any & all First Aid items)
           Topical Antibiotics 
               (Neosporin, Triple Antibiotic, etc.)
           Sterile gauze 
       Syringes... 
             (most needed are 3cc, 5cc, and
                insulin syringes)

  3. Foods: 
    (Food items should be purchased by the case if possible
    to aid in dealing with Customs. Thank you!)
    Canned vegetables
        (Food in cases when possible... showing expiration date will       
         simplify clearing customs)
        Pasta (they love Chicken Ramen Noodles)
        Canned vegetables
        Canned milk
        Cereals
        Canned fruits
        Macaroni and cheese
        Dried beans
        BABY FOODS
        Candy

  4. Personal Hygiene Items 
        Shampoo 
        Soap 
        Toothbrushes and  Toothpaste
        Deodorants
        Feminine Items

  5. Toys, Coloring Books and Colors, School Supplies 
     

  6. Blankets

  7. Knit caps and gloves

  8. Coats

  9. Clothes & Shoes 

  10. Baby diapers  (cloth or disposable)

  11. ADULT Diapers

  12. Plastic mattress covers (twin size)

  13. Cooking utensils

  14. Tables...   with legs which fold up

  15. Tablecloths (cloth and/or plastic)

  16. Disinfectants (for dishes, bathrooms, and general cleaning)
