I just wanted to explain to you how you came to be blessed with the contents of these boxes.

In 1995, I made my first trip to Romania , and the Lord gave me a love for, and a desire to help, the people of Romania . As the years have passed, He has permitted us the privilege of shipping 63 containers of food, clothing, toys, household items, and medical supplies.

It never ceases to amaze us at how the Lord provides for us to give to people. First, someone here in America , or Canada , finds out about us, and then learns of the needs that so many of you have. Then, the Lord, in His love for you, touches their hearts and they give items to our ministry here in Covington , La. Then, the real work begans.

Through the years, the Lord has touched the hearts of people to come and volunteer their time to help sort and box the supplies that are donated. This consists of many hours of unselfish labor, for the Lord has given these volunteers a deep love for all of you that receive these supplies, even though they never have met you, and probably never will.

Once these items are all sorted and boxed, we load them into a container for shipment to Romania . Again, the Lord has to provide, for cost, now, of shipping a container, is about $10,000. However, He cares enough for you that He always provides. Again, with the help of volunteers, we load the container on a Saturday morning.

The container is then taken to the port of New Orleans , where it is loaded aboard a ship and travels to Bremerhaven , Germany . From there, it is transported either by truck or rail across Germany , Austria , Hungary , and into Arad , Romania . There it is unloaded and distributed to different areas of Romania ---and this is how you came to receive these items.

What I want you to know, and understand, is that it only because the Lord loves you so much, and touches the hearts of so many people, that you are able to receive these items. It is our desire that only He is glorified in all that is done through this.

Please, as you receive these good know they come from God (James 1:17---Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.)

 Please don’t look to missionaries, pastors or other people but to God alone to meet your needs. Pray and ask Him to meet your every need He desires to show Himself real in and through your life. (Psalms 86:7---In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.)
