Christmas Joy In A Box

              "2005"

We went to a poor family whom we decided we will feed  from now on. We knew they had 2 children so we took  2 Christmas boxes. I did not know why we took an extra box until we were leaving. As we were leaving, we heard a noise from one of the rooms. and we found that they had another daughter who is about 20 but is mentally challenged. As we walked in and met her, she told us she will get tomorrow beautiful things for tomorrow she will have money. We went down to the car and we brought her the extra Christmas box. She had the biggest smile in the world and she hugged it for a few mintues. She then started kissing it and opened it. Inside, she found the doll and candy and she kept thanking us and kissing our hands .I told her she should thank Jesus, not us, and we left the room while she was happily singing "Jesus loves me this I know-" and hugging all her dear belongings

Thank You For Your Interest In Our
Romanian Christmas “Joy Box” Mission

Last year we sent 2,600+ “Joy Boxes” to Romanian children                                            so they too, could enjoy the wonder of Christmas.

You can help us in several ways:
1)    Provide a monetary donation so we can purchase items for the boxes
2)    Provide us with items you have collected from the list below
3)    Make the filled boxes using the instructions from the guideline below

In order to have the boxes arrive in time for Christmas, they should be delivered to Fairhaven Children's Home in Covington, Louisiana by October 19, 2007.

We appreciate you interest in helping to provide "Christmas Shoe Boxes" for children in Romania.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank You,
Johnny Huffman
