Letter from Jean in Haiti...

Dear Beloved in Christ.

Thank you so very much for your prayer. We are really in great need of prayer because our home, the orphanage and the school are affected, and we have to tear all of them down. The last part of the school was crushed completely. As for the front, it's so bad that we can't get inside and it can fall anytime by itself. We praise the Lord for his grace and mercy because we all are alive. We only have 6 of our boys who were injured.  Now that they are home, they are still not ok as they have to take medicine. We are sending some pictures to all of you (see below). Your prayers and your support are very needful. One more time, thank you and we praise the Lord for his faithfulness.

Items needed in Haiti...

The following are the items needed for our next shipment of relief to Haiti (loading and shipping date to be determined):

 

For loading purposes, it would be better if we could have items in cases, if at all possible. If the supplies are sorted and boxed, please label the boxes (food, household, blankets, bldg materials, tools, first aid, medicines, etc) so that it will make it easier when we are preparing the bill of lading for shipping. Thank you.

 

IMMEDIATE NEEDS:

Tarps, Tarps and more Tarps - and then, MORE tarps

Tent poles to secure same

Tampons and women's pads

Hammers (the need is GREAT for hammers!)

Bar soap

Cloth towels of any size (used or new - doesn't matter)

Food, of course

Aspirin (any kind)
