Jean Romain's Bio

Jean Romain is married to Merese, and they  have a 12 year old daughter named Samuelle whom they sought the Lord for 12  years to give them a child.

He has been in the ministry 25 + years.  He has a doctorate in ministry that he obtained from Christ for the Nations.  He is a Pastor of  one church and oversees 6 other churches.  And also he has a lawyers degree  for Haiti, which he obtained two years ago.

He has 50 boys at his orphanage and also oversees 1,100 students  through the schools that he runs.

There is also a hospital that he has been building in Thomazeau. And just this year, he had a well drilled there and it is the first time that  they have had running water in that village.

Jean is a very busy man, and is always taking care  of the needs all around him.  We have helped support his ministry for about  17 years and have always found him to be a man of integrity.  We have been  to Haiti and witnessed first hand the work that is going on, and seen that it is  a much needed ministry. Now he needs our help more than ever. Everything has been destroyed, but it has not deterred him.  Last Sunday, he  had church services in an open field where they saw 20 souls added to the Kingdom Of God, and then again Sunday night they had another service.  His  heart is to serve the Lord, and to see the Kingdom Of God brought to  Haiti.

Also he was very excited about the thought of getting  the cooking stoves.  The wall will be built with cinder blocks and re-bar  and concrete.
