Romans 12:10 : "Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another;"

Dear Friends,

As fall approaches in Romania, conditions seem to go from bad to worse.  At the beginning of the summer, Romania farmers suffered a severe drought, and recently, as you have may have seen on TV, so much of Europe has suffered from severe flooding, Romania included.

Adi Chisca, who delivers our supplies to some of the villages affected by these floods, sent me this picture of the roof of a house which collapsed during the flood. There are villages like this in which people do not even have the basic needs for survival. Please pray with us that God will allow us to be a channel to help these people and that as they are helped, they will experience the love of Christ.

The Lord was so good to allow us to ship another container a few weeks ago. Some of the things included in this shipment were 816 boxes of clothing, 85 boxes of medical supplies, and 149 boxes of educational products for children. You will notice that there has been little food coming in for us  to ship. We would ask that you join us in prayer for food to ship since this continues to be the number one priority.

We never know how God is going to use the things He provides. A few months ago He gave us a shipment of cornmeal—about 25 tons.  As Adi was delivering to an orphanage in southern Romania, the director told him that they did not even have money to buy bread for the children. They were so thankful for the cornmeal, for at least it provided a way to have bread. All of us here in America take so much for granted each day, and each time we sit down for a meal.

Just today we have received word that the Lord has again worked it out for us to continue to have the Kindergarten ministry. We praise Him for answering our prayers in this. Ani is very happy and so thankful for this, as we all are.

The Lord willing, we will be loading the next container on the first Saturday in November. In this container, besides the clothes, food, and medical supplies, we are praying to have a few thousand Christmas boxes for delivering to children throughout Romania. If any of any of you are not aware of this project, and would like to be involved, you may contact us for information.

As always, I want to thank you all for all of your prayers and support. Please continue to pray that only God will be glorified in all that is done through Fairhaven and Hopes for Others.

                                                                              In His Service,

And the King shall answer and say unto them,
"Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as you have done it unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."
