Dear Friends,<\/p>\n

School is out and the kids are looking forward to a busy summer. Besides church camps and activities, the girls will be going on a trip to Tennessee and the boys to Florida. We thank The Lord for using so many of you in making these possible for the children.<\/p>\n

Sweetie has been doing well lately and Sissie is having surgery on June 13th. Please continue to keep them both in your prayers.<\/p>\n

As you can see from the pictures, we have loaded another container\u2014this one for Belarus. The ETA for Grodno, Belarus is July 5th. We are thankful for the opportunity to ship there. We have never shipped to this country but The Lord opened the doors and provided all that was needed. Please pray that only He will be glorified as the supplies are distributed.<\/p>\n

We are planning to ship 2 containers to Haiti this month. Each will contain 20,000 lbs of beans and 20,000 lbs of rice, plus about 2000 lbs of cooking oil. We are very thankful to The Lord for providing in order to make this possible.<\/p>\n

I guess if there is one thing that I have learned in my life, it is the importance of leaving myself open to any way that The Lord may want to work. This past week, on Monday, I was made aware of very critical needs in the African country of Malawi. I will not go into all the details of how The Lord has put all of this together but suffice it to say The Lord had already provided for the shipping before I even thought about Malawi. We are working with Jan Sawa who has Mwana Mission Project. I would encourage you to go to mwanamissionproject.com to find out more information on this ministry. If nothing else, please just read the \u201cOur Mission\u201d part of it.<\/p>\n

Below you will find a list of needs for Malawi. Besides what you and others are able to help provide for these people in need, we will be purchasing beans, rice, and cooking oil. We are praying to be able to ship this load in July. I would ask that you prayerfully consider this list. Everyone of these items is greatly needed. It is very difficult for most of us, here in America, to even try to comprehend what it is to have such desperate needs.<\/p>\n

Again, I thank you all for your prayers and support. Through them, you are a part of everything that is accomplished through Fairhaven. I would ask that you continue to pray that The Lord will work in the lives of the children, and also that we will open to His will as He directs in ministering to others both here and abroad.<\/p>\n
