Thank the Lord, we are all doing ok—just busy as usual.

This coming week, on May 6th, Allie will graduate from Mississippi College with a degree in Elementary Education. She is blessed to already have a job after graduation. Then, on May 28th, Chaz will graduate from High School. He plans to join the US Marines. Their sister, Lily, will be a Junior at Northlake Christian School next year. Please continue to pray for them—that they will always be open the Lord’s will in their lives.

I want to say that there is simply no way that Sissie and I can express our appreciation for all of your prayers for us and for this ministry. If there is one thing that we have been aware of through the years, it is that it is your prayers that keep us going. I fully agree with one of Oswald Chamber’s statements that “Prayer is the Work”.

Thanks to so many of you who have contributed both with supplies and financial donations for the Ukrainian refugees. As you can see from one of the photos, Sissie and I took a load of donated supplies to God’s Warehouse in Morristown, Tn., from where they will be shipped in a few days. These supplies will go to help the refugees in Moldova. The photo also includes some of the volunteers at God’s Warehouse. We thank God for that ministry and all of those involved in serving there.

We continue to accept supplies and hope to soon ship a load from Duncan Ferche’s warehouse in Independence, La. It is all in God’s timing. Perhaps some of you are aware of the mortar rounds hitting in Transnistria, in Moldova, recently. This is where our containers will be going, the Lord willing. The following are 2 short messages from Mark Fashevsky, who works with the ministry there and with whom we work to have the containers delivered there.

“We have been living a relatively quiet life for two months since the war started and a few days ago this was shattered. There were a couple of explosions in the city and as a result we have a lot of check-points. It is still relatively safe and we hope it doesn’t get out of control. But I have to confess it is worrying. It can happen that Moldova gets dragged into the war with all the consequences. We hope and pray we will be spared.”

“We are relatively ok here though there are some concerns with the way things go in Transnistria, Moldova. With the war spreading and the objectives Russia has for the south of Ukraine this means Transnistria can be directly impacted. There are now rumors of men being drafted for the Transnistrian army (read Russian army) and this is of major concern for the population here. With this being said it is hard to say for sure where we will be in a couple of weeks. We hope the Ukranians will hold up and the war doesn’t sprawl further.”

Friends, I want to remind you that your life is special in the heart of God. He has put you here for a special reason—for a purpose that only you can fulfill. Instead of allowing your life to be dictated by fear from all that is happening today, I would encourage you to seek the Lord’s will for your life and for how He wants to use you in the coming days. I assure you that you DO have a special purpose to fulfill.

Again, thank you for your faithfulness in prayers and support. Please continue to pray that, in the coming days, whatever is accomplished through Fairhaven will ONLY bring praise, honor, and glory to our Lord.

In His Service,

Johnny

Johnny Huffman

Fairhaven Ministry of Faith, Hope, & Love

21066 Fairhaven Road

Covington, La. 70435

Ph: 985-892-1134

Fax: 985-892-1385

Cell: 985-264-5052

Email: johnny@fairhavenministry.com

Web: hopeforothers.org

Love is God’s will in action.

Phillipians 2:4,5—Look not every man on his own things, but every man on the things of others.
