KIDS PRAY FOR A NEW SWIMMING POOL<\/p>\n
We had a been given a swimming pool that was a few years old when we rcvd it, but the kids really enjoyed it. Then, in the summer of 2010, about August, it started to having some weak areas. I decided that I had better drain it for did not want it collapsing while the kids were in it. After I drained it, I saw that it was beyond repair so we took it down. The day I told the kids, you would have thought we were having a funeral! One of them said \u201cPapa Johnny, are you going to buy a new pool?\u201d. I told them that we did not have the money to buy one and that they would have to pray for one—which they did, off and on, all through the winter.
\nThe following spring, a friend called us. She said that, the year before, they had purchased the largest above ground pool available, but decided they wanted an in-ground pool. She asked if they could give us the pool they had purchased the year before. Again, the children were able to see the Lord answer their prayers.
\nI am always stressing to them how the Lord cares so much and goes so far beyond just meeting their needs. I told them that this pool was certainly not a need, but the Lord wanted them to have it and that they needed to be sure and thank Him and let Him know how much they appreciated it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
