Fairhaven Update-August-18-2025

Philippians 2:3– Do nothing [a]from [b]selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves;

Dear Friends,

It is our prayer that this letter finds all of you well.

As I start this letter, I want to express our sincere thankfulness to our Lord for His continued, and never failing, love and faithfulness. I often ask Him to forgive me when I am not thankful. It is my opinion that, with all of His blessings, we should as Christians live each day in a constant state of Thankfulness.

We are thankful that He allows us the privilege of continuing to serve Him and serve others. I sometimes reflect on how the ministry has “progressed” through the years and how the Lord has always been faithful to meet every need in order the keep the ministry going—whether we had 52 children or were shipping containers all over the world. He knows, no matter what we are doing, we just want it to glorify Him and to express His love to others.

We have had a busy summer so far. We did collect almost 4 pallets of diapers for the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Jerusalem, Israel. I delivered them to Church of the Living Waters in Tatum, Texas on July 10th, and they were loaded into a container on July 12th to be shipped to Israel. We thank God, and many of you, for making this possible.

The Lord willing, we will be taking another load to Hope Dealerz Ministy in Tulsa, Ok., on July 31st. I want to again thank those of you who bring clothes/hygiene products for this ministry. Also, to remind y’all that we try  not to take anything we would not use or wear. We have to remember that what we are giving is “as unto the Lord”, and we would never want to give Him our “junk”. I think it is always important to remember that we are blessed so that we can be a blessing to others.

As usual, we never know from day to day what is going to happen around here, but we can be sure that it will be busy. There is almost always medical supplies and/or food to picked up, then given away. Sometimes others come to get food to deliver it and sometimes we deliver it. The same with medical supplies.

Just out of curiosity, I often wonder how many, both here and abroad, have been touched through Fairhaven through the years. God knows and that is all that matters. Please pray that we will remain in His will and that only He will always get the glory for any good accomplished here.

As I close this, I want to share with you something the Lord impressed on me years ago and that I have shared with many.

“Please always remember that you and I are a precision instrument, designed for a specific use,  by a loving God that we may be used for ministering to others in a way that will bring praise, honor, and glory, ONLY to Him. There is no limit to what He can accomplish if you leave yourself open to Him working through you.” (You must be willing to step out of your comfort zone. You WILL have opposition at times. He WILL meet your every need.)

As always, thank you again for your continued prayers and support.

We pray His richest blessings on all of you.

In His Service,

Johnny & Sissie

Love is God’s will in action.
