Ephesians 5:20—Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Dear Friends,

Attached are pictures of the loading of Container number 74 for Romania. As with any of the containers, it is all simply the end result of prayers, funding, and hard work of many who respond to The Lord’s prompting. I am always thanking Him for all of you.

Besides clothes, medical supplies, toys, and other things, there were about 1200 Christmas boxes in this container that will be distributed to needy children. I guess if we filled a container with nothing but these, they would never be enough, but we are so grateful for our Lord allowing us the blessing of shipping every one of these. Hopefully, I will have pictures to share with you soon after Christmas of some of the children receiving them.

At this time, the ETA for Bremerhaven, Germany is Dec. 1st and for Arad, Romania is December 11th. Please keep this in your prayers.

As I look at these pictures, then I think of Thanksgiving next week, I am again reminded of how so blessed we are to have so much that we can continue to share with those less fortunate.

With all that is going on around the world, in our country, and right here in our community, we are still “Blessed Beyond Measure”. It is my hope that we will daily express our gratefullness to our Lord for His continued love, goodness, mercy, grace, and protection. Personally, I have to often ask forgiveness for taking so much granted. I have attached a Thanksgiving Prayer, which I send out each Thanksgiving. It is very good and I think it will do us all good to reflect on these words.

On behalf of Sweetie, Sissie, myself, and all the children, I want to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!

In His Service,
Johnny

Love is God’s will in action.

Phillipians 2:4,5–Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

“For I was hungry and you gave me food,
I was thirsty and you gave me drink,
I was a stranger and you welcomed Me”
Mt. 25:35

A THANKSGIVING PRAYER,
By Samuel F. Pugh

Oh, God, when I have food, help me to remember the hungry;
When I have work, help me to remember the jobless;
When I have a warm home, help me to remember the homeless;
When I am without pain, help me to remember those who suffer;
And remembering, help me to destroy my complacency and bestir my compassion.
Make me concerned enough to help, by word and deed, those who cry out for what we take for granted.
And having done what we can, let us sit down and thoroughly
enjoy our many blessings. Amen and Amen.
