Fairhaven Update September 10, 2021

1 John 3:16-17—-16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But who so hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? Dear Friends,I pray that this finds all of you well. Thank the Lord, we are all doing ok.A few minutes ago, I checked to see when I sent out the last update and the last one I could find was in June. I do not think I have ever gone so long between updates and I apologize for that,...

Dear Friends, Last night I received a phone call re a gentleman to went to a Walmart in Farmington, NM yesterday to purchase needed items on reservation near there. I was told that he stood in line for 1 ½ hours to get in, and then the shelves were empty. I have recently read of people sitting in food lines for 12 hours to obtain food for their families.—and I could go on and on but I imagine most of you are aware of these situations. My question is, “Do we take our blessings for granted?” We can never list all of the blessings that the Lord has poured out on us and I hope that we will...

Deuteronomy 15:11— For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land. Dear Friends,   Without a doubt, many of you who receive these updates have had your lives completely changed in the past 2 weeks due to all of the flooding in South Louisiana. I assure you that our prayers and thoughts are with you, but we also desire to help you as The Lord makes it possible.   Since this letter also goes to many friends and acquaintances in other countries, you may...

Fairhaven Update-June 15, 2014

1 Samuel 12:24 Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you. Dear Friends, As I have told you in the past, more often than not, the countries that need the help the most are the ones that are the most difficult to help due to the corruption and bureaucracy. I have had an interesting past few days in regards to trying to help in Croatia/Serbia. We have had about $1200 to come in designated for this need, then had many cases of water, baby foods/supplies, and some other things. Then, a few days ago, a church in Texas called...

Fairhaven Update – November 16, 2013

1 Corinthians 15:58–Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. Dear Friends, Just a brief update on the Romanian container that was loaded Saturday. I recently read in a devotional that “Love is God’s will in action”.  I thought of that as I watched Saturday, and thought of all of you who helped to make this possible. We thank the Lord for all of the help we had. With the exception of about 3 boxes, which I did not have ready, we had it loaded by about 10 AM. The following is the routing...
