Fairhaven Update – January-1-2016

Psalm 33:18—Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

Dear Friends,

As of this Sunday, January 3rd, Fairhaven Ministry will have been in operation for 50 years. It is, first of all, a tribute to God’s faithfulness. As most of you know, when The Lord placed this calling on the hearts of Brother Harold Brown and his wife, Jackie, He impressed on their hearts that they were never to solicit in any way or to take state or federal aid, but just to depend on Him. He has so truly blessed the ministry “beyond measure” for these 50 years. We praise Him for His faithfulness. If you would like to know more about the history of Fairhaven, please go to our website, listed below.

Also, thank so many of you how shared your Christmas with the children here and again made it so special for them. As usual, it has been an exciting time of the year and the kids are just now beginning to slow down a little—for which Sissie and I are so thankful!

I should soon have more pictures of the children in Romania receiving their boxes and will send them out asap when I do.

It often seems that the world around us is coming apart, with all of the tragedies with which we are surrounded. However, we have to remember the One who is still in full control of the situations and put our faith and trust in Him. It is my prayer that in this coming year, we will all be looking to Him for not only wisdom, discernment, and courage to make the right decisions, but also that we will trust Him for that peace that passeth all understanding, which we can have only in Jesus.

From everyone here at Fairhaven, we wish you a very Blessed and Happy New Year.

In His Service,
Johnny, Sissie, Sweetie, & Kids
