Fairhaven Update – May-28-2016

Mark 4:19—And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

Dear Friends,

I know that it has been a while since the last update and I apologize for that. I can assure you though that nothing has slowed down around here! I often tell people that it may be tiring here, but it surely is never boring. With the children, school events, animals, and helping locally and internationally, there is always something going on.

The children are now out of school for the summer. The Lord willing, they will be involved in several activities this summer, including Bible Camps, Vacation Bible School, camping in Florida if the Lord is willing, and other things. As you can see from the picture of Jordin with the catfish caught in one of our ponds, there is no shortage of things to do around here.

We have had Dalton (plus a grandson) graduate from high school and Jacob graduated last Thursday night from Lee Road Jr. High and will start at Covington High this fall. Dalton leaves June 28th for Navy bootcamp in San Diego.

As of this time, we have a container with 40,000 lbs of rice clearing customs in the Ukraine, 2 containers with 80,000 lbs of beans and rice clearing customs in Haiti, along with unique problems and extra costs in each place. The Lord willing, we will soon be shipping to Israel. Please be praying with us for the $4500 needed for shipping to Israel. We thank Him for His faithfulness and the opportunity to serve the people of Israel again.

We continue to thank you, and thank The Lord, for your faithfulness in supporting the ministry here at Fairhaven. Whether it is prayers, financial support, or you come here and help with the work, it is only because of you that this ministry has been able to touch the lives of so many children through the years as well as others around the world. I do pray that His richest blessings on all of you.

In His Service,

Johnny
