Fairhaven Update – March-13-2018

Ephesians 3:20-21–Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Dear Friends,

I want to began this letter with a prayer request. Mrs. Brown, better known as Sweetie, was brought home this week from the hospital with Hospice. For those of you who may not be familiar with the ministry here, it was her husband, Brother Harold Brown, and her that started Fairhaven 52 years ago this past January. Please pray that our Lord’s grace and peace will be manifested at this time. It is never easy when it is those we love and care about. Most of you know that.

However, through it all, the Lord continues to open doors of service for us to minister to others.

As you can see by the pictures, we loaded the container for Israel 2 weeks ago. The ETA for Ashdod, Israel is March 29th. Please be praying that the love of Jesus will be demonstrated and felt as the contents are given out and used. We are thankful for God’s faithfulness in using so many to make this possible. Sorry not more photos of the loading. I lost them when I was changing laptops.

Also, attached, is a letter from Jan Sawa, who was in Malawi when the container arrived last fall. I am sure that you will receive a blessing as you read her report and see a few of her pictures.

I have something else that I would ask you to pray about.

We have had 44,000 lbs of rice and 44,000 lbs of beans purchased and given to us for shipping to wherever the Lord directs. Today, I was made aware that Malawi is in a terrible drought right now, and that Indonesia has lost most of its crops this year because of too much rain. Now, I am not saying that this is where these 2 containers should go (each with half beans and half rice, plus some cooking oil), but the needs are there, should the Lord provide the funding. Shipping to each of these countries is more expensive than most we ship to. No problem for the Lord though, should He want them shipped there. Please be praying for Him to show us where He would have these to go. I thank Him for His faithfulness.

Again, thank you all for your prayers and your support. May the Lord meet your every need as only He can.

In His Service,

Johnny
