I hope this finds all of you well and enjoying your summer.
As usual, it has been, and continues to be busy around here, both with the kids and with helping others as the Lord makes it possible.
As you can see, both Allie and Chaz celebrated a graduation this year. Allie from High School and Chaz from the 8th grade at Lee Road Jr. High. We are proud of both of them.
This past week, Harold went to Disney World with the Covington High School Band and really enjoyed the trip. Emily, Mimi, and Chaz went to Bible camp in Arkansas with a group of youth from our church. Next week, several of the children will be going to Bible camp at Milldale, in Zachary, La.
Also, you can see that Lily, Jordin, Gabe, and Aiden had a fun day recently at nearby lake that is set up for all kinds of fun things. The Lord willing, we will leave on June 10th to go on our annual camping trip to Saint Andrews State Park in Panama City Beach, Florida. You can be sure the kids are looking forward to that.
Another thing you see in the pictures is food bags being given to the Venezuealan refugees. This is where one of the containers of rice and beans went. The ministry there also had people to donate potatoes and corn meal. They broke it all down so that each of the bags you see being passed out contains beans, rice, potatoes, and cornmeal. I am sure they are very happy to receive this for these people have nothing. As Americans, most of us can’t comprehend this kind of situation. One picture shows the lines of people there for food.
Jan Sawa is enroute to Malawi now and she will try to have pictures of the container arriving there the last of June.
