Dear Friends,
I want to share with you that the Lord has taken care of the situation regarding shipping to Guatemala and, the Lord willing, we will load on Saturday, September 8th.
We would appreciate all of the help we can get with the loading, if you are available.
I am often asked how I decide where we ship to. Actually, I do not. God does, in different ways. I have had visitors to visit us and as I took them through the sorting/storage areas, they would ask where the boxes of supplies were going. They were often surprised when I told them that I did not know. One person once asked me, “You mean you get all of this together and you do not know where it is going, or have the funds for shipping?” I told them that we do not need the funds for shipping until we have enough to ship. I believe that when we do our part, then it is up to the Lord to complete it. I read somewhere that “God is always good for the impossible.”. I praise Him that He is and that He uses His people to accomplish His will.
I know that many of you pray for Sissie and I, the kids, and for the ministry here. Thank you very much your prayers. We are well aware that it is your prayers that keep us going.
Thank you for being a part of helping to express the unconditional love of Christ not only to our children, but also to those in such desperate need. May the Lord richly bless you all.
