Dear Friends,
As I am sure all of you know, refugees from Ukraine are continuing to flee into Poland, Moldova, and Romania. Many have sent funds, though different organizations, with which some of the many needs can be met immediately. The Lord made it possible for Fairhaven to send $2000 today. I have a friend in Tenn. whose organization sent $10,000, and I know there are many others.
As in so many situations I have dealt with through the years, all over the world, if we only look at the overwhelming need, it is very easy to become discouraged and have the thought “I can’t do enough to make a difference in such a huge need.” Believe me, I have had that thought also. However, what we have to remember is that “Little is much, when God is in it” (remember the Lad with the loaves and fishes?). I have seen Him, many times, multiply what was given and I am always praying He will do that wherever we have the opportunity to minister. What you and I have to remember is that we are only responsible to do what the Lord impresses on our hearts and makes possible for us to do.
This is going to be a very long-term situation with many needs. Mark, in Moldova, has given us a list of critical needs that we will work on collecting in order to fill a shipping container. If the Lord leads you, I can assure you that your help in this would be greatly appreciated. The list is short and very simple.
