Fairhaven update – October-25-2025

OK, FOLKS,

I SENT THIS EMAIL OUT EARLIER THIS MORNING BUT HAD SOME MAJOR SERVER PROBLEMS AND AT LEAST HALF WERE NOT DELIVERED. HOPEFULLY IT IS REPAIRED NOW BUT I HAVE TO RESEND THEM ALL IN ORDER TO MAKE SURE THEY ALL GO OUT. I DO APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY CAUSE YOU.

THANK YOU!

JOHNNY

Proverbs 3:5-6– Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.

Dear Friends,

As usual, it seems that things are going full blast around here—and we continue to thank and praise God for His faithfulness and sufficiency in using people to provide for the needs of others.

This past weekend I made another trip to Tulsa. I am always thanking God for those that show up to help unload—for their faithfulness and concern for others. I think this was the largest load I have ever taken up there. The Lord willing, I will be making another trip around the first or second week of December. For that load, we already have about 300 Christmas bags (and some boxes) for children and have been given 2 pallets of hygiene products that we will take. We will also have winter coats and winter clothes and blankets and more hygiene products as they come in. That is one thing there is never enough of.

As most of you know, we at Fairhaven can only do what we do because of God’s provisions and because of the support of so many people through their prayers, financial support, and helping with the work/distribution. Many that are helping today are not very familiar with the history of Fairhaven. In that respect, the Lord has impressed on us to have a night here, in our chapel, when I will do a power point presentation on the history and also share many stories/miracles—and the result of what the Lord can do with a pastor and his wife (Bro. Harold and Jackie Brown) and $1.47.  The  purpose of this presentation is to glorify our Lord and to be an encouragement to others as I share His faithfulness with a few of the stories through the years.

The presentation will be on Tuesday, November 11th, at 6 PM, in Fairhaven Chapel. We would be happy to have you if you could come be with us.

Sometimes I come across devotions that are very applicable to the days we are living in. I am attaching one that I think/hope may be a blessing to some of you.

As always, we thank you for your continued prayers and support and we pray His richest blessings on all of you.

In His Service,

Johnny & Sissie

We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations.

Philippians 2:4–Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

Love is God’s will in action.

GO GENTLY THROUGH THIS DAY, keeping your eyes on Me. I will open up the way before you as you take steps of trust along your path. Sometimes the way before you appears to be blocked. If you focus on the obstacle or search for a way around it, you will probably go off course. Instead, focus on Me, the Shepherd who is leading you along your life-journey. Before you know it, the “obstacle” will be behind you and you will hardly know how you passed through it. That is the secret of success in My kingdom. Although you remain aware of the visible world around you, your primary awareness is of Me. When the road before you looks rocky, you can trust Me to get you through that rough patch. My Presence enables you to face each day with confidence.

“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.” —JOHN 10:14–15

The path of the righteous is level; O upright One, you make the way of the righteous smooth. —ISAIAH

26:7

Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the LORD will be your

confidence and will keep your foot from being snared. —PROVERBS 3:25–26
