Fairhaven Update – May 5, 2012

Dear Friends,

It is our prayer that this finds you all doing well. Although we often face very difficult times, it is always reassuring to know that the Lord is still in full control of everything. We praise Him for His faithfulness.

Container number 71, for Romania, was loaded last Saturday morning. As always, we had plenty of help and all went well. ETD for US is May 3. ETA for Bremerhaven, Germany is May 23, ETA for Arad, Romania is June 1st. Since most of you have never been here for the loading of a container, I am attaching more pictures with this letter so that you can see the work involved in loading. However, this is just the end result of many, many hours of sorting and packing that is done each week by volunteers. Only the Lord can touch hearts and put all of this together. We thank Him for the faithfulness of His workers.

I could never share with you all of the people and organizations that are such a blessing to us. Just to give you an example, though—on Saturday, we had people from local churches, as well as from a church north of Baton Rouge, and another church in Jena, La. All of these folks were helping in different ways that are such a blessing to us. Some were loading the container, some were building a new working pen for the cattle, some were changing oil in the vehicles for me, some were making us a garden, and some were working on our TV system. I assure you that only God can put all of that together and we are so thankful.

Yesterday, I received a call from Ca. from an organization by the name of HIV (He Intends Victory) which ministers to Aids victims in several countries throughout the world. The organization has been in operation for about 20 years. They found out about us through a friend of mine who went on a medical mission trip with them to Africa. They were calling me regarding needs for medical supplies in Uganda.  Without going into detail, I will simply say that the Lord has blessed us with a large amount of medical supplies in the Ft. Worth/Dallas area. A church in Membrino, Tx. receives the supplies and sorts them for us. I would simply ask that you be praying with us for the Lord to lead and bless if this is His will. Dealing in some countries can often be a logistical nightmare.

As always, I want to thank you for your prayers and support. Only the Lord knows how much we appreciate all of you.

In His Service,
Johnny
