Fairhaven Update – June 28, 2013

2 Cor. 9:8– And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Dear Friends,

Do you ever wonder where the time goes? I just noticed that we sent out the last update letter in April and I was under the impression that we had sent one out only a month or so ago.

The kids are doing great. Ball season is over and they are now involved in VBS’s and Bible Camps. I think that Sissie told me that we have one week during the summer where there is not something specific going on.

We are very thankful for your prayers and support which makes it possible for the children to be able to do these things. The Lord does indeed bless us beyond measure each day.

Sweetie (Mrs. Brown) continues to have problems gaining and keeping weight, plus always having problems with kidney stones. Please hold her up in your prayers in a special way.

The container with the rice cleared customs in Odessa, Ukraine, last week and should be in Moldova very soon. We were able to help ship some pharmaceuticals in a container from South Carolina to Nicaragua a couple of weeks ago. At the present, it looks as if we will be loading a container from here, for Moldova, on August 10th. I will keep you informed on this.   I would ask that you would pray that the Lord will direct us in the needs we come in contact with, both here and abroad. Right now, I have people contacting me re medical needs in Moldova, Serbia, Romania, and 2 places in Africa. The needs are overwhelming in so many places. Some are not aware that in our neighborhoods there are people who are constantly having to make the decision to purchase the medicines they need, or food, for they can’t afford both.  Please pray that wherever we are able to help, the Lord Jesus will be glorified and His unconditional love will be expressed in a way that will draw others to Him.

Again, thank you all for your prayers and support.

In His Service, Johnny, Sissie, Jackie, and Kids
