Fairhaven Update-August 15,2013

Galatians 6:10
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Dear Friends,

It is difficult to believe that it is almost time to for school to start back again. I assure you that the kids have had a full summer and we want thank you all for helping to make it possible. We ended it with a trip to Florida for 10 days, camping out at St. Andrews State Park in Panama City Beach. There were hundreds of pictures made but I am only including a few of them. They fished day and night, rode bikes, swam in the bay and in the ocean, went to a water park, had some sun burns, bike accidents, poison ivy, mosquitoes bites, rain,—but a very blessed trip! We thank the Lord for making it all possible.

The Lord willing, we will be loading a container for Transinstria, Moldova on August 17th. Breakfast will be at 7:30 and we will start loading about 8. We would really appreciate any of you who could come out that Saturday morning to help. It will probably be hot, but the more we have to help, the quicker it will be loaded.

I will share with you just a little about where this container is going and the ministry it is going to.

For those of you who know nothing about Moldova, it is a small country between Romania and Russia. To give you an idea of what it is like, the people in Romania feel sorry for the people in Moldova.

The Lord has led a young man, Mark Fashevsky, in Transnistria, Moldova, to minister to the children in orphanages and also as they leave the orphanages, before they are incorporated into human trafficking. Should you like to know more about this ministry, you may visit the website at  http://helpthechildren.md/. It is to this ministry that the container will be shipped.

Again, thank you all for your prayers and your support. May the Lord continue to bless you.

In His Service,
Johnny
